We decided to name our practice JePsycholoog because we believe that at some point in our lives, we can all benefit from a few sessions with a psychologist. There is nothing mysterious about it really, now is there? You go to your dentist when you have a tooth ache and to your gym when you think it is time to get in shape. So it is that you go to JePsycholoog when you are struggling with something that you can’t work out by yourself.
When you go see a psychologist, it makes it just that bit better to be able to talk in a relaxed environment with a comfortable atmosphere. That is why we set up our practise to look just like a homely kitchen: there is a big wooden table with comfortable chairs around it and plenty of coffee and tea. Because we believe that professional, serious and effective therapy can, and should, be accessible, modern and friendly as well.
